The 110 Folding Hunter® Pro joins the ranks of the classic and traditional Buck favorite, the 110 Folding Hunter®. The first Folding Hunter® was created in 1963 and still today is one of America’s best-selling knives. The Pro version delivers the same expectations you’ve come to have from the original 110, but with a different, updated look.
The clip point blade is upgraded to S30V steel while the handle is G10 with brushed nickel silver bolsters. Closed Length: 4 7/8" (12.4 cm) Comes with a black genuine leather sheath. Imported sheath. G10 An almost indestructible resin laminate that is resistant to heat, cold, chemicals, impact, and other abuse.
These tough, durable qualities make G10 well suited for a knife that will get well used in extreme environments. Lockback Lockback folding knives have a mechanism that lock the blade in the open position, activated by opening the blade all the way. A lock back gets its name from a rocker (rocking lock bar) partially visible on top of the knife.
Opening the blade causes the rocker to lock against the blade so it locks open. Pushing down on the rocker on top of the handle releases it and enables the user to close the blade. Lockbacks require two hand closing, though some are one hand openers.
